Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 25, 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to the Android application “Headphone Checker” (package name: com.vbrazhnik.headphones_checker), available on Google Play (“the App”), developed by Vladyslav Brazhnik (“the Developer”). It explains how the App handles information when you use it.

Summary

The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. It does not contain ads, analytics, or any third-party SDKs, and it does not have internet access.

Information the App Accesses

To detect whether a Bluetooth headset or audio device is currently connected, the App uses the Bluetooth permission provided by Android (BLUETOOTH_CONNECT, and on older Android versions BLUETOOTH / BLUETOOTH_ADMIN). The App does not read the connected device’s name, model, or any other identifying details. This information is used only on your device, in real time, to run the App’s core functionality, and is never stored, logged, or sent anywhere.

App Settings

Your in-app preferences (such as theme and sound mode) are saved locally on your device using Android’s DataStore. This data never leaves your device and is deleted automatically if you uninstall the App.

Data Sharing

The Developer does not share, sell, or transmit any data to third parties, because the App does not collect or transmit any data in the first place.

Children’s Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

The Developer may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
